Off the Course in Myrtle Beach:
Deep Sea Fishing
After your round or on that off-day, you'll find other great ways to soak up the Myrtle Beach sun. One of the most popular off course activities you'll find is deep sea fishing. Every day, several charters leave from Calabash and theCherry Grove area, just minutes away from Sun Colony. The trips range from a few short hours to a full day's outing. Once onboard, yo'll head out into the Gulf Stream where you can reel in everything from tasty sea bass to a challenging marlin. If you're in the mood for something a little laid back, take a group charter just a mile or so off-shore and the crew will do everthing from bait your hook to clean your catch, all you need do is enjoy the sun and surf. You can even just kick back on a sightseeing or dolphin cruise or just meander up and down the intracoatal waterway.

Myrtle Beach Golf Packages

We can help you design your Myrtle Beach golf package that suits your budget and your golfing needs!

We offer you choices for your Myrtle Beach Golf Vacation

We offer you the opportunity to build a golf vacation package that’s flexible by first providing you with very competitively priced  accommodations so that you can build your golfing schedule to suit the needs of everyone in your group.  For your group of 4, the lodging expenses for your fall/winter golf trip can be as low as $12.50 per day! (based on a 7 day stay at $350 per week). At that price, you can afford to pick and choose your courses much more to your liking and to your schedule, whether you want to play 7 days, or just 3 or just 5…. Or play as a two-some one day, while your other two-some spends the day at the beach, sightseeing, or just whatever else they might like to do! You’re not locked into golfing everyday if you choose not to.

You build your package ala carte by booking your accommodations first and then booking your tee-times separately, and, not necessarily, well in advance. You'll find that most courses have plenty of availability in the late fall and winter or the summer and many of them offer 48 hour specials either directly through their website or via phone or in-person. Even if you do desire to book your tee-times in advance, there are many courses for as little as $35.....and that includes carts! Based on those prices, each golfer in your party of 4 can stay at our condo for a week and golf 4 days for under $200 a piece! Please remember... peak season here in Myrtle is March, April & October and rates are significantly higher then.

On the right side of this page we've given you links  to nearly every course up and down the Grand Strand to help you decide what's best for you and your group. Each description will also provide you with a link to the course's homepage (if they have one) as well as a link to a map showing where the course is located. We urge you to compare prices on all of the sites. You may find quite a disparity in pricing between sites, but one not neccesarily always the lowest. Shop around until you find the courses you want at the prices you want. Or if you like......we'll do the searching for you based on either your specific or general instructions.

Booking your tee-times closer to your play dates is also going to minimize the effects of the weather on your playing. Most courses along the Grand Strand do allow for rainchecks based on their interpretation of unplayable conditions. Even if you come away with a rain-check, you'll likely be hard pressed to find a day to use it. We think it much more advantageous to you to plan your golf around the weather and minimize the effect that it may have on you. Given the bargains you can get up to 2 days before you play....it's well worth it!

You will find that there may be some significant variances in the rates between sites. It's always best to shop around. Most courses often offer special '48' hour rates. You also want to check out individual course websites since many of them will advertise web only specials. Signing up for email lists is another way to find bargains. We recently got an email special rate of only $33 for Carolina National which was about half the normal rate.
