 It is 5 miles straight down Highway 9 to Cherry Grove Beach, which is the northernmost beach in South Carolina. Just a few miles farther into North Carolina will bring you to the spectacular barrier island beaches, Sunset Beach being the first one.

In the backyard! Colonial Charters Golf Course runs directly behind our condo. In addition, there are over a dozen courses less than 10 minutes away. The famous Jack Nicklaus design Long Bay is just 5 minutes west up Highway 9.

 There are 2 Food Lion Supermarkets within 5 minutes of the condo (We provide you with an MVP card so you can take advantage of the special pricing at Food Lion). There is also a 24hr WalMart Supercenter 10 minutes away in North Myrtle Beach. There is also a very fine locally owned IGA market called Boulineau’s, located in Cherry Grove, directly across the street from the beach. There is a CVS Pharmacy 1 mile from the condo as well.

 Yes! We have a pool and Jacuzzi available to all Sun Colony guests. At the pool complex, there are also gas grilles available for your use as well.

You will receive your deposit back within 30 days of departure. In most cases, we have returned deposits on the day of departure but never later than 1 week from departure date. To this date, we have never withheld any amount from any damage deposit. This is a credit to the wonderful guests that have stayed with us!

Our condo is a totally smoke free environment. We do not allow smoking either inside the condo or on the deck. Smoking is allowed on the condo property, however, we would expect that, if you do smoke, you will respect the conditions of the condo grounds and dispose of your smoking materials properly. Evidence of smoking within the condo itself is condition for complete forfeiture of your damage deposit.

Yes, there is ample parking available for 2 vehicles per condo unit; no parking permits are required. We have a very quiet, safe neighborhood and many residents never lock their vehicles

As a rule, we do not allow pets in our condo, based on stringent regulations in place by our Homeowners’ Association. We will however, consider your pet on an case by case basis and always subject to the requirements set forth in our HOA bylaws. If we cannot allow your pet in our condo due to our HOA restrictions, you do have the option of boarding your pet locally at a very reasonable cost (approx $100/week). Absolutely! Our condo is a family oriented environment and we welcome your children! Please be advised however, our condo is not ‘child proofed.’ Please keep that in mind if you have toddlers in your family.

You do not need to bring either. We provide you with all bed linens, pillows, etc as well as an ample supply of towels and washcloths. Our kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking and dining requirements.

Entry to the condo is via a lockbox. After your final payment has been received, we will UPS your “Welcome Package” which will include your individual lock box combination and instructions for entry into the condo.

Yes, for the most part you do, however, we do have some beach supplies for your use at the condo. There are 4 beach chairs available, 2 are PVC style lounge chairs and the other 2 are the collapsible 'camp style' chairs. There are a couple large size beach blankets and a 30qt cooler as well. There are also some assorted beach toys for the kids. We do not have a beach umbrella at the condo....depending on what time of the summer you are there, an umbrella would be very helpful! You can rent them or buy them; see our "Links" page for more info.

Yes, we do provide unlimited dial-up internet access for your convenience at no additional charge to you. We have a laptop computer, printer, and memory card reader in the condo as well. You may also bring your own laptop if you prefer.
